What is Mrs. Claus?

Mrs. Claus is a fun filled event for all grades to shop for inexpensive gifts to give to their family for Christmas.  All items sold at Mrs. Claus are donations from the families of Cathedral.  Most items are home-made and range from $0.50 to $3.00.  The kids have fun shopping; wrapping what they buy, and are usually so excited they want the gift to be opened before they even leave the parking lot. 

The money made from Mrs. Claus is used to off set the cost of the Christmas movie the kids go to see at the Lincoln on the Friday prior to Christmas break.

Wish list:

• White spray paint for plastic (available at Michaels)      
• Black craft paint
• White craft paint
• Bird seed
• Wrapped candy (lots and lots of wrapped candy)
• Coffee mugs (holiday and everyday)
• Black fun foam
• More to follow

What can you do to help?

• Donate finished items to be sold (let us know what you are working on and how many so we can be sure to have enough items for the kids to buy)
• Donate items off the wish list
• Sign up to work a Mrs. Claus shift
• Follow the Mrs. Claus web page

Where and when to drop off donations:

• All finished donations on or before December 11^th; donations can be dropped off at the office or brought to the December Parents Club meeting.
• Wish list items as soon as you are able.

What is new with Mrs. Claus?

Mrs. Claus has gone all techno thanks to Ms. Julia Piper-Jung…we now have a link on the web page.  Just go to the Parents Club tab then select the Mrs. Claus tab and you can follow what is going on and what is still needed.
