MATH:  We are getting into algebraic expression. This week we’ll be looking at absolute values and then learning to add and subtract integers.

8 Social Studies: The test on Ch. 4 will be on Tuesday.  After that we will be working a couple of exercises in the Nystrom Atlas. I hope to begin the Ken Burns series “The Civil War’ on Thursday.

6 Social Studies    Mobiles are due on Wednesday.  We will finish this chapter on Monday but I don’t think we’ll have the test until Friday

7 Social Studies:   We will begin to take notes this week on the Legislative Branch. Students should not be surprised to have a quiz on Thursday or Friday.

5 Social STUDIES   We will continue to work in Chapter 4. We will be reading a myth in the book and then we will attempt to write one of our own!  I also hope to do another section in the Atlas – but this will be done in school

English   We will finish this chapter with the review section and then have a writing assignment
