       My how the time has flown!  It honestly feels like we just started off the year.  I want to thank all of the students and parents for a wonderful year.  The students showed such enthusiasm toward their work.  We had a great year and were able to try new things such as the Skype interviews with the author, Patrick Carmen and former Cathedral student, Carmen Connors from Spain.  I look forward to even more opportunities such as these for next year. 

       During the summer months, I hope that you will encourage your child to continue reading.  Please try setting a goal of 20-30 minutes a day.  A trip to the local library or local book store would allow your child to check out what new books are out.

       Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s learning experience.  I am already looking forward to next year.  In the meantime, I hope that you and your families have a safe and happy summer.
