We offer a quality education... starting at age 3 through the eighth grade. We concentrate on all core subjects while maintaining a strong emphasis on providing a Catholic education.

Our school has a Chapel within our building, which is a wonderful asset to the school and provides the opportunity for Mass and reflection to be held on-site. Cathedral Grade School works closely with the priests from The Cathedral of Saint Peter. Msgr. Myler is a familiar face at our school and in the classroom.

In addition to the core curriculum, Cathedral Grade School offers various supplementary classes, such as Spanish, Latin, PE, Music, Band, and Art. Cathedral Grade School believes in educating the “whole child.” The faculty here at Cathedral urges students to get involved in their community and that no matter how small, anyone can make a difference. We are developing a strong relationship with St. Vincent DePaul and our neighboring Catholic hospital, St. Elizabeth.

Technology is a big part of Cathedral Grade School. Our technology is suited for all ages of children. In addition to our two computer labs, our students enhance their learning using various hand-held devices. Our Early Learning Center, Prekindergarten and Kindergarten benefit from Nabi’s, while our 1st - 4th graders are learning on Kindles. Our upper grade students have access to a mobile laptop cart that provides each student with hands-on computer access, while still participating in the classroom.

Cathedral Grade School’s Athletic program provides a wide range of opportunities for students to hone their athletic ability while demonstrating good sportsmanship. Our fall sports include Soccer for our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders, and our 5-8th grade girls. Baseball is offered for the 7th and 8th grade boys. Basketball is available to 5-8th graders. Our spring sports include volleyball and track for the upper grade students, as well.

Students are given avenues to express themselves in extracurricular activities outside of athletics. We have a Math team, Chess team, Student Council, Science Fair, and Scholar Bowl just to name a few. We pride ourselves on providing activities for students of all interests.
